My 6-year-old actually asks to go for rides now instead of complaining. The padded seat and backrest keep him comfy on longer trips, and the side panels give me peace of mind near the spokes.

My kid actually feels secure with the foot pegs and the side panels keep his feet safely away from the spokes.

The foot pegs made a bigger difference than I expected, my daughter stopped sliding around on bumps. Only gripe is the rubber handgrips get a little slick when it's hot out.
